NSW records 17 new cases, one death linked to Crossroads Hotel

The Victorian Health Department has released new data overnight which breaks down the number of active coronavirus cases by postcode.

There are 13 postcodes with more than 90 active cases, and four postcodes have more than 200 each.

The area with the highest number of active coronavirus cases is postcode 3029, which includes Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina in the western suburbs, with 346 active cases.

Previously the most detailed data available was broken down by local government area (LGA), but some LGA’s contain dozens of suburbs.

3023 — 177 cases
