US now has the most coronavirus cases in the world NewsColony The United States now has the most coronavirus cases in the world with 83,553 infections and 1,205 deaths.  New figures released on Thursday show that the US has overtaken China and Italy with the number of confirmed cases in the global pandemic.  Italy is still the hardest hit country in terms of deaths with more than 8,000 fatalities.
