NewsColony How genius kid, 5, managed to ‘scam’ his mother into thinking he was doing his schoolwork  A mother has revealed how she was ‘scammed’ by her five-year-old after he managed to trick her into thinking he was doing his school work in another room. Laura Mazza, 33, from Melbourne , said she had left her son Luca by himself to get on with his homework while she did her chores, but was later stunned when she realised he hadn’t been working at all, but had instead been playing with his toys.  Posting on Facebook , Laura wrote that while she was working in her own home office, she put FaceTime on ‘so if Luca had a question when unsupervised, he could ask’.
