Romelu Lukaku has admitted he doubts he will return to the Premier League in the future – but the Inter Milan striker also hinted at a future move to MLS or ex-club Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old frontman, taking part in an impromptu social media Q&A session during the current coronavirus lockdown, shared his thoughts on a number of different subjects with fans.

And Lukaku, who has featured for four different top flight clubs during his career, conceded that sealing a comeback in England appears unlikely.

Lukaku previously represented West Brom, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United, but departed Old Trafford for Italy last summer in a reported £73million deal.

The Belgian international netted 113 goals in 252 Premier League clashes altogether before heading abroad.

One fan asked Lukaku: ‘Will you ever play in the Premier league again and will it be back at Everton?’

But the Inter target man replied: ‘I don’t think so but I loved my time at Everton for real.’

Having begun his career in his native Belgium, Lukaku revealed that he one day hopes to return to Anderlecht – the club which handed the star his first professional appearance.

‘For sure,’ Lukaku responded when asked whether he plans to play for the club once again.

The Belgian outfit are currently coached by former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, who departed the Etihad after more than a decade’s service.

Lukaku was also questioned over who he believes to be the most talented youth prospect emerging at his former club United.

And the striker singled out 18-year-old Mason Greenwood, with the teen ace having scored 12 goals in 36 appearances.

‘That boy cold,’ Lukaku enthused about the Old Trafford prodigy.

Lukaku was also challenged over a similar pick for another of his ex-clubs, and highlighted the breakthroughs of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount at Chelsea.
