Woman in her 80s dies in a hospital in Victoria taking Australia’s coronavirus death toll to 89 

A woman in her 80s has died in Victoria, taking Australia’s coronavirus death toll to 89.

The woman died in hospital on Tuesday, Jobs Ministers Martin Pakula  told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday morning.

The elderly woman is the 18th Victorian to die from the virus. 

Another three cases were recorded in Victoria overnight, bringing the state’s total to 1351.
