Donald Trump suggests Kim Jong Un is ALIVE saying ‘I wish him well’
President Donald Trump made cryptic comments at the White House Monday indicating that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is alive – while refusing to reveal what he says he knows about Kim’s condition.
He was asked about Kim’s well-being at a press conference about conflicting reports on Kim’s status – including some that the leader of the hermetic nation has died, with reports out of South Korea that he is alive.
‘I can’t tell you exactly. Yes I do have a very good idea,’ Trump responded when asked about it. ‘But I can’t talk about it. I just wish him well. I’ve had a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un,’ Trump said.

Then the president defended his own policy direct engagement with North Korea, although he dodged an initial question about whether Kim has responded to his March letter.
‘If I weren’t president, you would have been in war with Korea,’ Trump claimed. ‘You would have been in war with north korea if i wasn’t president. That i can tell you. He expected that. That i can tell you. I hope he’s fine. I do know how he’s doing relatively speaking. We will see you’ll probably be hearing in the not too distant future,’ Trump teased.

The president also jumped to comment on Kim when being asked about what a what a South Korean official said about the subject on Fox News. ‘He didn’t say anything last Saturday,’ Trump said of Kim. ‘Nobody knows where he is so he obviously couldn’t have said it,’ Trump added.
‘This is breaking news, that Kim Jong-un made a statement on Saturday – I don’t think so,’ Trump said.
Rumors have swirled over Kim’s health since he failed to attend a ruling party showpiece on April 15, and he has not been seen in public since. The event was to honor Kim’s grandfather, Kim Il Sung.
There were reports that he underwent a cardiovascular procedure or had decamped to avoid the coronavirus.
There were also rumors Kim could have been injured during a North Korean missile launch he attended earlier this month.
