Sick pervert who creeped on schoolgirls and women CRIES after being brutally bashed in prison

A serial pervert who exposed himself to a woman and three schoolgirls while asking for directions has cried as a court heard he was bashed in prison.

Sebastian McKay pleaded guilty in August to four counts of indecent behaviour following three seperate incidents in Adelaide over three days from July 31.

The flasher has been in Yatala Labour Prison awaiting sentencing since, but on Thursday prosecutors filed an application to register him as a child sex offender – delaying the custody hearing and forcing McKay back to prison.

Defence lawyer Justin Wickens told Adelaide Magistrates Court that his client was having a ‘hard time’ behind bars and had been beaten, The Advertiser reported.

He asked asked that the application not hold up sentencing.

‘He’s in Mount Gambier and that is a protection prison but there is no protection within the protection prison and he is anxious to get the matter finalised as soon as possible,’ Mr Wickens said.

But Magistrate David McLeod said the interests of the community had to be considered and set a new court date for December – sending the offender back to jail.

McKay asked a woman for directions from his car at about 8.20am on July 31 as she went to cross into the Adelaide CBD.

A prosecutor told the court that she saw his penis hanging out of his shorts.

On the same day, 40 minutes later, he drove up to two teenage girls in school uniforms and again asked for directions.

As they spoke, one girl realised his was stroking his penis and they both ran off.

Three days later, he got out of his car at 1.15pm and asked another schoolgirl for directions.

She soon realised his pants were undone and his genitals were exposed.

McKay is also being sentenced for leaving a service station without paying for fuel.
