NSW records 14 new coronavirus cases, restrictions for Victorian travellers
There have been 14 new coronavirus cases recorded in New South Wales in the past 24 hours.
All of these are returned travellers in hotel quarantine, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said.
There are no cases of community transmission.
Yesterday there were five new cases, all in hotel quarantine.
One person is being treated for COVID-19 in an intensive care unit, Brad Hazzard said.
However, 97 per cent of people are being treated in “out of hospital care”, which generally means being looked after at home.
Mr Hazzard has again warned young people to continue to take COVID-19 seriously.
He said about 40 per cent of cases in NSW are in people aged 18-29 and told this age group that it is not “invisible and immortal”.
“Take it seriously,” he said.
