Irresistible Ending Explained: The Unexpected Conclusion Of Jon Stewart’s Movie And What It Means

Why Is The Ending Of Irresistible So Surprising

Rather than follow the typical story of a political operative that bonds with the locals and becomes a better person, Irresistible is all about a small town fighting back against the political infrastructure. We don’t see Gary befriending the locals, win Diana’s heart, and decide to quit the political rat race for a life in Deerlaken. The finale sees Deerlaken outmaneuver the political parties, in a very real, very effective scheme involving SuperPAC money and a huge shell game meant to convince Gary, Faith, and the D.C. Elites that they’re truly the smarter parties. When, in fact, they are not.

NewsColony Sydney records 30 new cases of coronavirus with almost all linked for the Northern Beaches  New South Wales has recorded 30 new cases of coronavirus with 28 on the Northern Beaches and two being investigated.  From tonight until Wednesday night all Greater Sydney residents will be allowed a maximum of 10 people in their homes.  Premier Gladys Berejiklian has also banned dancing.   The mystery outbreak was identified on Wednesday afternoon when a couple in their 60s and 70s tested positive having visited venues across the Northern Beaches instead of self-isolating while awaiting results. The strain of the virus is believed to be from the US but disease detectives have not worked out how it got out into the community. From Tuesday airline crews will be forced to quarantine at two hotels whenever they land in Sydney.  Thousands of people around the city queued for Covid-19 tests on Sunday morning.
