Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher enjoy a sun-drenched lunch date in Sydney’s Woollahra

They’re believed to have made a full-time move Down Under, after enrolling their three children at a school in Sydney.

And Hollywood legends Sacha Baron-Cohen and Isla Fisher looked like the picture of happiness as they headed out for a sun-drenched date on Friday, as they wandered through the trendy Eastern suburb of Woollahra.

The Borat star, 49, and the Wedding Crashers actress, 44, looked incredibly loved-up as they enjoyed the raging city heat, with Isla wrapping her hand around her husband’s arm as they walked across the street.

Isla looked incredible in a patterned ankle-length dress, which she teamed with a casual pair of flat sandals.

She teamed her look with a pair of oversized sunglasses and an over-the-shoulder bag.

Her husband, who like her was also wearing a huge COVID-19 protective face mask, dressed in a white T-shirt, green shorts and white trainers.

He teamed his look with a cap to protect himself from the blazing Sydney sun.

Their outing comes as speculation runs rife that the pair have followed in the footsteps of Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky, and made the move to live in Australia full-time.

Recently, the pair took the major and seemingly permanent step of enrolling their children at a school in Sydney, which happens to be the city where they first met back in 2002.

Sacha and Isla, who tied the knot in 2010, share three children together, Olive, 12, Elula, nine, and Montgomery, five.

On Thursday, Isla was spotted picking up her children from their new school after working on her laptop at a nearby café.

Until recently, the notoriously private family were living in Los Angeles.

But after filming wrapped on Sacha’s latest mockumentary, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, it’s unclear if he has any more work in the pipeline in LA – particularly amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Isla, who was raised in Perth from the age of six, has always dreamt of bringing up her children in Australia.

She told Marie Claire in 2018: ‘I have this secret fantasy of slowing down, moving to Byron Bay, getting off the grid and sitting on the sand with a Vegemite sandwich.’

The Scooby-Doo star added that it ‘isn’t easy’ raising children in LA, saying: ‘There’s not really a culture of bringing your kids to dinner parties or to restaurants past 6pm.

‘I tend to entertain at home because I want to be with my family – it’s easier to put your kids to bed and have a wine with friends.’

On Saturday, it was announced that Isla would be lending her voice to Netflix’s new multi-million dollar animated movie ‘Back To The Outback’, where she’ll play a friendly snake called Maddie.

The movie – which is described as a ‘love letter’ to Australia – will involve a wealth of local talent including Eric Bana, Keith Urban, Tim Minchin and Celeste Barber.

Volunteers book hotel room for homeless man with SingapoRediscovers vouchers

NewsColony Volunteers book hotel room for homeless man with SingapoRediscovers vouchers © The Independent Singapore Singapore — A group of volunteers from the Mummy Yummy Singapore welfare organisation donated their SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to book a hotel room for a homeless man. The man, who was identified as Jayden, did not have a place to live while waiting for the Housing Board (HDB) to allocate him a rental flat. In a Facebook post on Mummy Yummy Singapore’s page on Wednesday (Dec 16), the volunteers said: “We used our $100 Rediscover Singapore vouchers to redeem hotel stay for him and successfully booked 9 days worth of stay at 3 days per voucher.” They added that they were unable to book a longer stay because of higher hotel rates over Christmas and New Year. The volunteers hoped that they would be able to bridge Jayden’s stay until he got a flat. “Thanks our government for giving us these vouchers which in return we can put them to good use for people in need,” th...

NewsColony JANE FRYER: The judo master who made me the fall guy… aged 97! Jane Fryer is pictured above with Jack Hearn. ‘See, I’d get you round the neck and press on your Adam’s apple,’ he grins, silver moustache bobbing, white teeth flashing. ‘ And if I carried on with that, you’d be dead in a minute’ There is a startling moment in Jack Hearn’s extremely spick and span kitchen, when I’m standing between his trophy table and the wall and he’s telling me how he could finish me off with his huge, bearlike paws. ‘See, I’d get you round the neck and press on your Adam’s apple,’ he grins, silver moustache bobbing, white teeth flashing. ‘ And if I carried on with that, you’d be dead in a minute.’ We have already had a lively discussion about whether he should, or should not, throw me over one of his surprisingly wide shoulders on to his beautifully vacuumed living room floor. ‘I could throw you, of course I could! But I won’t,’ he says.  ‘It’s not fair — you don’t know...
