CLARE Crawley has hinted that there may be potential for new men to join her upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

After NBC confirmed that the series had been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the 38-year-old told fans during an Instagram live that it may lead to new faces appearing on the show rather than those who had already been announced.

“I’m not saying this personally — but I feel like since we have a break in the show right now, I don’t think it’s too late to submit people,” she said.

“So, submit them, why not? What’s the worst that could happen?”

Just days after Clare was announced as the new Bachelorette she branded her season the “most dramatic” ever after the series was forced to be postponed.

“Well hello! Talk about most dramatic season ever! In all seriousness, Everyone’s health is the most important priority at this time, and as I’m sure you’ve heard, we are pressing pause for now on filming The Bachelorette,” she shared.

“We are taking it day by day and even hour by hour as this is so unpredictable,” she added.

“All I know for sure is that my heart is so full from all the love and support this far, and am still so excited for my journey to begin!

“I’ve waited 38 years for these moments, what’s a little bit longer, right!”

Bachelor Nation fans were celebrating as fan-favorite Clare was given a fifth chance to find love.

She failed to do so during Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor, season one and two of Bachelor in Paradise, and Bachelor: Winter Games.

After six years of trying to find love, Clare is now the oldest Bachelorette on the show’s 16 seasons at 38.

However many of the men announced hoping to propose to Clare at the end of the series are all in their 20s, leading to criticism of the show..

Clare’s ex Juan Pablo Galavis could not help but take a dig with the 38-year-old taking to Twitter to throw shade at his former love, taking aim at her age and how that would go with her younger suitors.

“I just SAW the GUYS for @Clare_Crawley Bachelorette season and its gonna be INTERESTING seeing HER get hit on by KIDS on their 20s,” the former Bachelor and pro soccer player wrote.

He added: “I think this MIGHT be the 3rd SEASON Im gonna watch.’

Clare, 38, did not hesitate to put Juan Pablo in his place however – much like when they met on The Bachelor in 2014.

“And yet here you are, older than 99% of them and still cant practice compassion and kindness,” she replied.
