A FURIOUS client claims that she has been left with the “world’s s******t” eyebrows after she was allegedly pressured into getting them laminated.

Melissa Ryan, 21, from Bromley, Greater London, visited Cavendish Aesthetics to get lip fillers on March 9.

But during her treatment, she claimed that she was pressured into getting her brows laminated by a staff member who “wasn’t fully qualified.”

The grooming treatment left her brows looking twice their original size and extremely dark.

Disgusted by the final look, Melissa took to social media to review the salon and the service.

She said: “Whilst having my lips done I was offered to have my eyebrows laminated and tinted, I felt a bit put on the spot as you do when people try to upsell, but asked if this treatment would suit me and both Amanda and her colleague agreed I’d look great, so I agreed to have it.”

She continued: “I don’t like to publish my confidence issues to other people but I literally came home and cried, this has made me feel even worse about myself and my appearance.

“I was left looking like a complete fool. I probably could have done a better job myself blindfolded.”

The post has since been shared more than 1,000 times and has sparked hundreds of comments in response.”

An hour after the application Melissa sent a series of concerned messages to Amanda about the state eyebrows were left in.

Melissa asked that she be refunded £25 for her brows but the salon owner called her “rude” and told the 21-year-old that she was overreacting.

According to Melissa, the post has encouraged others to come forward, saying that they had work done at the salon that later needed fixing.

Melissa told KentLive: “I’ve tried to contact Amanda but haven’t gotten anywhere, this whole situation didn’t have to get out of hand like this if she didn’t allow unqualified people to do work.

“She hasn’t taken any sort of responsibility for what went on in her salon or what her employee did, she blocked my number so I couldn’t contact her that’s why I took to social media.

“I haven’t even received any sort of apology or my refund.”

The owner of the salon, Amanda Cavendish, has since spoken out against the “constant barrage of abuse” she has received.

The 56-year-old owner claims that she has received more than 700 messages since the post went viral.

She even had to report the alleged abuse to the police.

She told KentLive: “Staff are worried that someone will come in and cause problems, I’ve had clients cancel today.

“I don’t want to have anyone here put at risk. My husband is in work in London worried sick. And the Police are now involved – all because one person complained.”
