Eamonn had planned to take her to Italy to celebrate, but cancelled after the country closed its border to prevent the further spread of the virus.

Elderly people are at highest risk of fatality if they contract the coronavirus, with the government instructing them to stay home for months.

PM Boris Johnson has called for drastic measures to contain the outbreak in the UK.

He has ordered bars, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, schools and gyms to close.

The PM has also encouraged everyone to stay at home and practice social distancing to not transmit or contract the virus from others.

Britiain has a fast growing number of new coronavirus cases, with London at the epicentre of the crisis.

London has 1,965 out of the UK’s 5,683 cases and 281 people have so far lost their lives to the virus.
