IT was a case of like father like son as David and Brooklyn Beckham both kissed the special ladies in their lives in Miami today.

The former footy ace, 44, locked lips with wife Victoria, 45, as he proudly showed her and the family around his team Inter Miami’s stadium.

He pulled Victoria in tight and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he showed off his dream project.

The ex-England captain was casual in a white T-shirt and jeans while Victoria dressed all in black.

Brooklyn, who recently celebrated his 21st birthday with a £100k party at the family’s Cotswolds home, couldn’t keep his hands off Nicola Peltz, 25, as they cuddled on the pitch.

Holding her around the waist, Brooklyn pecked the side of her face.

His brother Romeo, 17, was also in a romantic mood, kissing his girlfriend Mia Regan as the pair left the ground.

The Beckham boys couldn’t resist having a kick-about on the immaculate turf, as they did previously on the club’s training ground.

It’s been a difficult start for David’s new MLS club with them losing their first two games, and their home debut being delayed due to coronavirus.

However, it doesn’t appear to be affecting his mood.

He whipped off his shirt on the training ground while having a kick-about with his sons and showed he’s no slouch.

Yesterday Victoria called on fans to “support each other” and “listen to the experts” as she celebrated David’s football launch in Miami.

Taking to Instagram, the former Spice Girls star shared a sweet snap of her and David cuddling on the pitch as she added that she hoped everyone could “stay safe”.

“The family and I are here in Miami for the launch of @davidbeckham’s team,” she wrote.

“At times like this, the most important thing is to be with loved ones and to support each other. Let’s listen to the experts and stay safe x kisses from us all.”

Launching the Inter Miami football club, David shared his own snaps and added: “It’s times like these when we are reminded of the things that are truly important in life.

“Our health, our loved ones and looking after those that need support in our communities. In these moments, sport takes a back seat.”

The pandemic has hit the sporting industry hard with the Wales v Scotland Six Nations clash, the Masters golf and Premier League football the latest casualties.

Volunteers book hotel room for homeless man with SingapoRediscovers vouchers

NewsColony Volunteers book hotel room for homeless man with SingapoRediscovers vouchers © The Independent Singapore Singapore — A group of volunteers from the Mummy Yummy Singapore welfare organisation donated their SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to book a hotel room for a homeless man. The man, who was identified as Jayden, did not have a place to live while waiting for the Housing Board (HDB) to allocate him a rental flat. In a Facebook post on Mummy Yummy Singapore’s page on Wednesday (Dec 16), the volunteers said: “We used our $100 Rediscover Singapore vouchers to redeem hotel stay for him and successfully booked 9 days worth of stay at 3 days per voucher.” They added that they were unable to book a longer stay because of higher hotel rates over Christmas and New Year. The volunteers hoped that they would be able to bridge Jayden’s stay until he got a flat. “Thanks our government for giving us these vouchers which in return we can put them to good use for people in need,” th...

Disabled people are still vulnerable, even as COVID-19 normalizes their ‘special’ needs

Disabled people are still vulnerable, even as COVID-19 normalizes their ‘special’ needs NewsColony Perhaps it’s appropriate that public notices of the COVID-19 crisis began as an ableist cruelty. Health officials assured the nation that only the elderly and those with chronic health conditions would be seriously affected; most Americans (i.e., the normal people) would have only mild symptoms and be fine. x A friendly reminder: people who will be high-risk patients if we get coronavirus can hear you when you reassure everyone we’re the only ones who might die. â€Â” Alexandra Brodsky (@azbrodsky) February 29, 2020 Soon after the announcement of those assurances, the likelihood of high-risk people surviving was further limited by the people more likely to be fine. Shopping frenzies cleared stores of essential supplies needed everyday by many disabled people, like thermometers, hand wipes, masks, and IV infusion supplies. Accustomed to their needs ...

JANE FRYER: The judo master who made me the fall guy… aged 97!

NewsColony JANE FRYER: The judo master who made me the fall guy… aged 97! Jane Fryer is pictured above with Jack Hearn. ‘See, I’d get you round the neck and press on your Adam’s apple,’ he grins, silver moustache bobbing, white teeth flashing. ‘ And if I carried on with that, you’d be dead in a minute’ There is a startling moment in Jack Hearn’s extremely spick and span kitchen, when I’m standing between his trophy table and the wall and he’s telling me how he could finish me off with his huge, bearlike paws. ‘See, I’d get you round the neck and press on your Adam’s apple,’ he grins, silver moustache bobbing, white teeth flashing. ‘ And if I carried on with that, you’d be dead in a minute.’ We have already had a lively discussion about whether he should, or should not, throw me over one of his surprisingly wide shoulders on to his beautifully vacuumed living room floor. ‘I could throw you, of course I could! But I won’t,’ he says.  ‘It’s not fair — you don’t know...
