On Sunday evening, protesters began to smash shop windows downtown Washington D.C. near the White House, the TASS correspondent reported from the scene of the protests. Young people in dark clothes smashed the glass entrance door of a jewelry store, knocked out a metal gate with heavy objects and went inside. It is not clear whether they took anything from the store. This is not an isolated case. On a nearby street, a windows of an expensive restaurant have been broken, as well as the door to a nearby eye wear store. Earlier, protesters marched in the city center, chanting, among other slogans, the name of George Floyd, an African American man, who died as a result of detention by the Minneapolis (Minnesota) police last week. NewsColony Barefoot captain nearly loses foot after tiger shark lunges at boat A group of adventurers quarantining on a boat in the remote Middleton Reef off NSW were shocked after a large tiger shark repeatedly lunged at their boat, nearly taking the toes of their captain. Underwater oceanographer Dean Cropp, who runs the YouTube channel Barefoot Captain , told 9news.com.au he was diving with his crew when he spotted the large predator encroaching on them. They exited the water “real quick”, he said. That was just the start of their encounter.
